In the 7th grade I started the french horn and the 8th i learned the stand up bass , the piano and the mellophone which a marching verson of the french horn slightly different and close a trumpet. my freshmen year a learned the trumpet. My junior year I got my hands on a cheap little drum set that i still use today:). Other instruments i learned were the accordian, the harmonica, synths, and percussion.....I've been writing songs before I even learned to play an instrument. Napkins, the backs of assignments,...my arms became home of some of my favorites creative writings. All of my songs I write and record. I play every instrument and record everything by myself in my colset. I'm currently working on a 10-song demo. the songs on this page are just a sample of what I can do. IF you haven't been to a show.... you should definitely try to make it to ONE! they're actually fun and you can dance... : )

Influences: I've been listening to The Cure, the smiths, MORRISSEY, pulp, joy divison, new order and alot of other british rock bands Blur, Oasis, since i was a wee baby boy running around the house in diapers singing the batman theme song!!! (thanks bob)Ritchie valens was a Huge reason why I wanted to play the guitar. I have a bluesy/honkabilly/rock & roll/indie/jazz stlye of playing the guitar which is influenced stevie ray vaughn, eric johnson, brain setzer, johnny marr, chet atkins charlie christian and buddy holly. vocally inspired by MORRISSEY, bob dylans lyrics, and david bowie melodies. rocked by led zepplin, put in my place by yngwie malmsteen. I'm into the old classics, eddie cochran, the everlybrothers, carl perkins, to 60's mod rock. the rolling stones THE BEATLES (heavy influence) the dave clark five the zombies and the byrds. throw my head and scream with sikth(thanks nyoki) and break out the twang with dwight yoakam, buck owens, listen to the stories of johnny cash! i let joni mitchell make me cry and weird al make me laugh. i let enya soften my heart and bob marley streghthen my soul. bust rhymes with lil'troy cause you all know' I wanna be a balla". 2 friends Mason and tyler turn me on to alot of the new stuff built to spill, clap your hands say yeah, lcd soundsystem bright eyes !!!etc. and although they're all great I can still hear alot of ties to the classics. What is lacking in music today is originality and whether you think I am or not now, I willl eventually find it! I like alot of different music... Things from james brown, sam cooke and nat king cole to sergio mendes viciente fernandes and los lobos. the clash! the london suede, the arcade fire, B.R.M.C. glen miller, hot hot heat, the ventures, and travis. and i swear alot more! but this paragraph is too long as it is! I Love it all! and I love you.
Sounds Like: I've been compared to Frank sinatra mixed with billy idol!!?? I get The Cure, The Smiths, The Beatles and Morrissey..... according to a little hobbit my vocals sound like colin blunstone from the zombies! OverAll i'd say it sounds like all of my influnces listed above meshed into one!
