Dealing with life, puppies, mountains, big sun glasses, small sun glasses, finding out how to spell sunglasses, drunk myspacing, learning new drink recipes, perfecting old drink recipes, waffle housing with other disgrutled bartenders, changing my major, silver strike bowling, KReady's parents back porch, Cuddle Fest 2007, English alcoholic women, taking your ex-fiance's advice on experimental indie rock with bagpipes.
Old friends mostly.
Girly complaint rock of course. Ben Folds, Steel Pulse, NOFX. Kate Nash, Less Than Jake, Feist (please god watch my feist video all the way through), Minor Threat, Neutral Milk Hotel, Propaghandi, Fiona Apple, White Stripes, and Th' Moonlight Sexy. Yo La Tengo, Wolf and Cub. Also check out The Annuals if you get a chance. They're like if Ween and Modest Mouse had a love child and it was 20 years old and kind of angst-y.
Can't really touch this. I have taken quite a few film classes and it has made me a self-rightous nerd. In short, these classes ruined my life. Will mention Factory Girl, High Fidelity, Ferris Bueller, and Jackie Brown. Hate the people on "the space" who list a lot of stuff in their music and movies to try and sound like the authority on these subjects. These are the same people who think really hard about the first and last movie or band they list. BOO YOU WHORE!!!
Everyone should read "Skinny Bitch" by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin. It will change your mind about veganism, and quite possibly change your life. It definetly changed mine. Other loves would include "Valley of the Dolls" by Miss Susaan, "The Bitch Posse" by Martha O'Connor, and "White Oleander" by Janet Finch, and anything by Laurie Notaro.
