I listened, completely captivated as they shared their beautiful, powerful expereinces about helping the people from India.I considered India my home, as soon as I arrived in Calcutta, in January 1929.In 1950 the Missionaries of Charity became a recognized order of nuns. The Missionaries of Charity would differentiate themselves from other Orders by vowing themselves not only Poverty, Chasity, and Obedience, but to a life of service to the "poorest of the poor."
