Documentaries and Comedies for the most part.
Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Comedy Central, History Channel, NPT, The Outdoor Life Network, Travel Channel. Jeff Corwin, Crocidile Hunter, Weeds, Big Love, Reno 911, Chapelle's Show, South Park, SNL, and anything that I can learn something new from. Some people think television is evil and mind numbing, but I think if its not abused and used as a babysitter, it can be a very resourceful learning tool. I for one have learned a ridiculous amount of information from TV, some useful and some not.
Anything I feel like I can learn from. Lots of scientific journals and guides, pretty boring to most people I guess. I find it hard to read novels because I feel like I'm wasting my time on something that isn't real. Even if I enjoy the book, it still feels like a waste of my time when I should be learning something.
My wife and the rest of my family. Charles Darwin, Jimmy Smith, Duane Allman, Donny Hathaway, anyone who strives to be a master at what they love to do and actually puts it in motion. Also, animals with chromatophores (Chameleons, Cuttlefish, Octopi, and other color changing animals.) The ability to change your appearance to suit your climate or your surroundings is quite amazing.
