I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have a habit of telling 'embarassing' stories on myself and sharing tidbits of useless information.

I have a blog. http://joleneneverhadachance.blogspot.com/

God help me. I have a three year subscription to Us Weekly.

I am a tremendously sentimental person with an insanely good memory.

I am a stay-at-home mother to two girls: Miles and Lola. I am a scotty dog owner and a station wagon driver. I am a Coke-head that still hasn't forgiven Coca Cola for discontinuing C2. I design jewelry and like creative arts in general. I think you should shop at Leslie's Shoppe!! I am a Chi Omega alumnae. I am a member of the Junior League. I met my husband in college at our apartment complex. We were neighbors. I am still friends with some of my best friends from college. I am also great friends with some people that I have been close to since elementary school. Some people don't even realize that I have three sisters. They think it is just Dinky and me. Some people think I have a tremendous knowledge about other people, i.e., nice way of saying know all the gossip, but if they only knew just how much information people send my way, they'd realize that I actually keep my mouth shut most of the time. Most of the time.

Made by Andrea Micheloni

I design jewelry for my own line, BrownbagStudio . I also make my own pendants and beads from clay.

It couldn't be much more obvious to people that know me that I am an oddly intellectual, spastically creative person, a major bookworm and, according to most idiots, geekish. Then again, I would just die if I was an idiot so we'll just call it even.

My Interests

I dig short hair on girls. Shaggy hair on boys can be cute. It really just depends.

I like...

Jewelry design and bead/supply shopping; Bargain hunting; READING; museums; genuinely funny people; the Carribean Islands as a whole; extra closet shelving; that one minute when you are drifting off to sleep and it is the last instant that you can possibly stay awake; reinventing crap into neat stuff; magazines; Ebay; ample lighting in general; barrettes and retro bobs; skulls and crossbones; thread style earrings; station wagons; owls; cutting and coloring my own of other people's hair; SATCO queso; ICEE frozen beverages or Sugar-free Popsicle brand popsicles; excuses to entertain...

I'd like to meet:

Sally O'Mally

People who regularly use either of these phrases in everyday converation because I think they would be quite a character:"This ain't my first rodeo" OR "Ass, grass or gas- Nobody rides for free!"

The person who narrates the obituary hotline for Red Boiling Springs to ask if they ever feel just a little bit weird about the fact that they narrate a small town funeral home's obituary HOTLINE . It's like, "Shirley, go call the hotline and see who died yesterday." I could get caught up in checking it multiple times a day cause I'm just like that.
