About Me

I refuse to live my life by anyone's expectations. I am who I am and I make no excuses. I'm a little bit eccentric and a whole lot a crazy, though not in the need-to-be-medicated way, just in an adventurous and free-spirited way. I love my friends--they rock my world and inspire me to be a better person. You can join the circle, if you think you're ready. I worship my trifectas and wouldn't be who I am without them. At least it's only literal, not figurative and blessedly temporary. I grow and change every day, striving to bring a positive vibe into the universe. I need peace to maintain my sanity. And Sundays off, thanks. I'm absolutely obsessed with film and have been in the business one way or five for half of my life. I work as a film critic and feature writer for the Murfreesboro Pulse . If you aren't reading it, you should be. Help us enlighten this nonsensical town. I want (in no particular order) to write a shelf of novels, a cabin in the Rockies where I can run away, to learn to fly a plane, honor my father's spirit, win an Oscar, see seven continents, take a hot air balloon ride, hike the Grand Canyon, and surround myself with the world's most amazing people. And whatever else I encounter along the way...
