Before Evali there was Careless Obsession. Careless Obsession found that their singer didn't fit the direction the band was heading in. So they decided that in order to make any progress they were going to have to kick out their old singer.The search for a new singer began. They went 7 months before they met Nick Petrella. Nick was exactly what the band was looking for. With their newly added singer, the band decided that they need a new name as well to portray their new image. That is when Nick P. came up with the name Evil-i, standing for i am evil, Sandro thought that it would be more original if they replaced the i by an a and condensed it all into one word. The name Evali was born. The band then took on the challenge of rewritting a whole new set of songs, greattly differing from their old style. The new songs are more intricate and well thought out. But we'll let you be the judge of that.
