Hijos De La Tierra was created in the fall of 2005 by Jorge, Maria Guerrero and Piero Giunti formaly of Urban Menace witch brot them together in their artistic journey of exploration and discovery. This new project was to head in a different and creative musical direction. This approach to Latin American music would attempt to fuse the rock with indigenous elements using native wind, string and percussion instruments like the Charango, Jarana, Congas, Timbales, Zamponya, and Quena. In the process of doing so, Hijos De La Tierra has given birth to a unique and ancestral sound seldom heard in the streets of Los Angeles and even less in its airwaves. Hijos De La Tierra creates music and rhythms in an array of colors, offering something for almost every kind of genre and enthusiast. In the future, Hijos De La Tierra hopes to continue in this musical direction and eventually expand its geographical horizons to encompass elements from music around the world.
