Manish Raval and Tom Wolfe have been working together as music supervisors since 1996, beginning with the feature film Kingpin. Other credits include Jackass Number Two, There's Something About Mary, Donnie Darko and The 40 Year Old Virgin. The upcoming Ben Stiller comedy currently titled The Seven Day Itch will be their ninth collaboration with the Farrelly brothers. Other upcoming projects include Richard Kelly's Southland Tales and Jake Kasdan's Walk Hard.
Over the years Aperture has worked with some amazing artists, including Wilco, Phantom Planet, Ivy, Brian Setzer, Foo Fighters, Smash Mouth, The Offspring, Pete Yorn, Steely Dan, Nick Lowe, Todd Rundgren, Tommy Stinson and The Flaming Lips.
In addition to music supervision, Raval and Wolfe have composed original scores for films such as Neo Ned (Gabriel Union, Jeremy Renner) which was selected for the 2004 Tribecca Film Festival and won an audience award at the 2005 Slamdance Film Festival, and Special (Michael Rappaport) which premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
