REAL TALK...

About Me

Born in Baltimore, Maryland- Harvey’s innovative sound and strong song writing ability is making big noise on the music scene. Entering this world in 1984, Harvey has always had a love for music. As a child he levitated toward any situation where he was the center of attention. He started rhyming at the age of thirteen and soon became infatuated with the skill and grandure involved.
At fifteen he got introduced to battling and from there won numerous underground battling titles. These titles eventually earned him a spot on BET’s "106 & Park" Freestyle Friday Battle. After that he took a break from rapping to understand the executive side of the business and took an internship in the A&R deaprtment at TVT Recordsin New York, New York, there he was in charge of internal duplication, artist support and listening and passing on demos. Harvey learned exactly what scouts were looking for in a new artist and decided whole-heartedly that he wanted to make a career out of music.
In 2006 Harvey and associates established GRINDSTONE MUSIC GROUP. An independant production company and from there spawned other subsidiaries like GMG Development, H Dot Promotions, GMG Footage Inc... Now Harvey is focused on getting backing from a major label for his production/ artist development firm and getting signed as an artist. The future is bright.
We are throwing events all the time. Holla at the page.

Do you think that it's smart to invest in your demo?

This question may seem weird but I'm getting a lot of hand written bios and CDs with no track list just a crude title scribbled on them. If you believe in your musical ability why not present youself ...
