If I had to pick one singer/songwriter, guitarist, and performer that inspires me the most - it would be Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
I encourage EVERYONE to Google her name and find her music - and then brace yourself for singing, guitar playing, and songs that have laid the foundation for so many recording artists who came after her.
Mahalia Jackson, Ray Charles, & Aretha Franklin to name but a few.
The music in our profile is entitled, "Mr. Lowe's Birthday," by one of our most gifted MySpace friends, Samantha Gillogly. Her music is INCREDIBLE. I am hoping everyone who stops in here will take the time to give her music a listen, and then go over to her MySpace page and listen to some more of her INCREDIBLE music.
