*************Antonello "Esganaway" Balata nasce a Tempio Pausania (SS) il 29/12/1982. Sin da piccolo nutriva interesse per gli LP del padre, ascoltando Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Genesis, ecc. All’età di 7 anni gli fu regalata la prima musicassetta: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (Black Sabbath). All’età di 10 anni inizia a studiare Pianoforte dal M° Giovanni Maria Pasella e in seguito al conservatorio "L. Canepa" di Sassari. All’età di 15 anni al fratello più piccolo viene regalata una chitarra classica e sarà amore a prima vista. L’anno seguente comprerà la prima chitarra elettrica, una Fender Squier del ’90, che modificherà totalmente e tutt’oggi ancora usa. Nel 1997 fonda la Rock/Metal band "Living Corpse", esperienza che nel 2002 culminerà con le finali nazionali del festival "Sanremo Rock & Trend" e una partecipazione all’ "I-Tim Tour". Dal 2002 al 2007 frequenta varie scuole di musica come la Birdland (Sassari) e il D.A.M.S. (Bologna). Ha alle spalle più di 1000 concerti negli ultimi 5 anni in tutto il territorio nazionale suonando come solista e con svariate band, tra le quali: Survivor, Vintage, The Modern East, gAp, Charles And The Monsters. Dal 2007 suona con le rock band "Partelesa" (eseguendo un repertorio di brani originali e cover di Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin ecc.) e continua il suo progetto da solista scrivendo, suonando, cantando e registrando tutte le sue canzoni. Le sue chitarre sono una Fender Stratocaster U.S.A., una Fender con pickup, ponte, tastiera, e circuiti modificati artigianalmente dal liutaio Gian Nicola Cossu, chitarre acustiche Crafter e Yamaha, ampli Vox. Since he was young he listened the father’s LP like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Genesis, etc. When he was 7, he was given his first tape: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (Black Sabbath). When he was 10 he start studying the Piano with M° Giovanni Maria Pasella and later at Conservatorio "L. Canepa" of Sassari. At 15 years old, he started to love his brother’s guitar. The following year he bought his first electric guitar, a Fender Squier of ’90, that will be totally customed. In 1997, Anto formed the Rock/Metal band "Living Corpse"; with them he will play to the national music festival "Sanremo Rock & Trend" and also to the "I-Tim Tour" Festival. From the 2002 to 2007 he studied in many music’s schools like the "Birdland" (Sassari) and D.A.M.S. (Bologna). He has played in more than 1000 live performance in all the country like solo player and also with various band: Survivor, Vintage, The Modern East, gAp, Charles And The Monsters. Since 2007 he formed the "Partelesa" rock band (playing own songs and cover: Guns n’ Roses, AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin etc.) and he proceed with his solo project. Anto uses Fender Stratocaster made in U.S.A., a Fender Customed by Gian Nicola Cossu, Crafter and Yamaha Acoustic Guitars, Vox Amps. He buys his instrument by GD MUSIC shop in Tempio Pausania (SS).
