First Fight Down is a metalcoreband hailing from Kaatsheuvel, a town in the south of Holland. The band was founded in 1998 by ex-members of Take a Stand.In 1999 First Fight Down recorded their first MCD called 'Victim of Fear'. Two years later the band signed at the 'Scenestar Records' label and recorded their second MCD 'Shades of Distress". After this release the band played a lot of shows, it were good times for the band. But troubles lay ahead........the band was having problems writing new material. This is why their guitar player in 2004 quits First Fight Down. After a short period First Fight Down found a new guitar player. He brought the inspiration back into the band and right now in 2006 First Fight Down is ready to conquer the world!First Fight Down produces metalcore in the veins of Arkangel, Sentence and Length of Time. Their live performances can be described as highly energetic with a great atmosphere.
