I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I must be one of the luckiest girls alive, I have such a great life sometimes I think I'm dreaming... I'm a fun and easy going girl who likes to have a good time. I'm not into drama or head games. I'm a cancer and a tiger. I love playing hostess with the mostess, I do it well, or so I'm told. I am on a quest for enlightenment and financial freedom. I am open to trying pretty much anything, except for eating those gross things they have on Fear Factor and strange fetishes that include animals. I enjoy the finer things in life as well as the simple. I love camping in the wilderness as well as the buzz of a big city. I have a relatively high level of consciousness and I know what I want in life. I trust myself and the universe. I am the eye of the storm, I stay calm and centered regardless of anything. I am a warrior and a wizard.

My Interests

cooking for other people, yoga, feng shui, burning man, travel, meditation, wine, spirituality, dancing, hanging with the girls, scuba diving, sushi, meeting new people, sleeping in, chillin by the pool, warm summer nights, raising the collective consciousness, entertaining, being cuddle bugs with Jeremy, learning to hoop, road trips, golf, great food...

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent, happy, authentic, guys and gals who have a passion for life. I enjoy meeting people along my path of spiritual, personal growth that I can share with and learn from. Other than that, my friends come from all walks of life and literally range in age from 21-71. Unless you have bad energy, chances are we'll get along.TIP: If I don't know you, please send me a message before requesting to be my friend. I, like most, get dozens of requests each day and I don't bother to look at them if I don't know who they are or they haven't sent me a note to introduce themselves. I'm not on here to just gather "friends" that I have no actual relationship with. All of my friends are actual real life friends. I'm not saying I have to meet you in person, but I have to at least feel some connection before I will add you.

Music:

This is a tough one, I like so much different music! Here's a sampling: Jeremy Weinglass, Kim Manning, Coldplay, Marvin Gaye, Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Radiohead, Prince, Sade, Sarah McLachlan, Billie Holiday, Tracy Chapman, Karl Denson, Soulive, Al Green, Portishead, Prince, Mary J Blige, Dead Can Dance, Hooverphonic, Moby, Massive Attack, Sia, Thievery Corporation, Flaming Lips, Glactic, Widespread Panic, 10,000 Maniacs, The Smiths, Tori Amos, Jill Scott, Soundgarden, Dee Lite, U2, The Doors. KCRW is the best radio station in LA.

Movies:

MUST SEE: ZEITGEIST and No End In Sight! Both provide a very good understanding of the craziness that is going on today. Go to zeitgeistmovie.com to watch the full movie.
Fav movies of 2007: Atonement, The Great Debaters, The 11th Hour, Sicko, The Peaceful Warrior, Rendition, Dream Girls and American Gangster
Past favorites: Secretary, Swingers, When Harry Met Sally, Diva, Annie Hall, The Matrix, Waiting For Guffman, Best in Show, Spinal Tap, Office Space, American Beauty, Inconvenient Truth, Bobby, Moulin Rouge, Ray, Sideways, What the Bleep, The Secret, Wild at Heart, The Notebook, Say Anything, Like Water for Chocolate, The Princess Bride, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Zoolander, Hi Fidelity, Farenheit 911, Boogie Nights, Foul Play, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Fight Club, Caddyshack, Memento
80's classics: Less Than Zero, Better Off Dead, The Outsiders, 16 Candles, Weird Science, Breakfast Club, Ferris Beuler's Day Off

Television:

Well, Jeremy and I canceled our cable and are spending our time on more productive things. But I used to watch: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Reno 911, CSI, Chapelle's Show, Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck, Strangers with Candy, Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park, King of the Hill, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, AbFab, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, old SNL.

Books:

The Power of Now, The 4 Agreements, Mastery of Love, Anything by David Sedaris, The Witching Hour, Watership Down, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Success Principles, Deepak Chopra, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, Think and Grow Rich. I can't seem to read fast enough. Apparently I'm more of a book collector than a reader. I have at least 40 books waiting to be read. And they are all books I really want to read too. I know I have good taste, I just haven't made the time to read them all. I think I should start buying books on CD instead, I'd get through them a lot quicker that way.

Heroes:

peace-spreaders/do-gooders: Gandhi, Deepak Chopra, MLK. my teachers: Bryan Kest, Satyen Raja, Anjali Hill, Stephen L. Garrett, Moe Moreno and Michael Beckwith. All my wonderful friends and family. And of course, my amazing fiance, Jeremy Weinglass, for inspiring me each and every day to live my life with radiance and love.
