About Me

Panagiotis Moschandreou was born in Athens 32 years ago. He got his first camera, a cheap Kodak Instamatic, at the age of ten refusing that day to get as a present a big brown PlayMobil pirate ship instead. That was the time he first wondered around capturing people’s moments in film. Years later he studied to be an aircraft engineer. He always had his great passion, photography, as a hobby and way of expression. At some point he decided it was high time he did that for a living instead of fixing planes. So, he entered a Middlesex University of London’s BA course, and started collaborating with several newspapers and magazines. His volunteer work at the Action Aid International in London coined his decision to concentrate on concerned photography and become a photojournalist, focusing especially on people and on regions of the world in trouble. He traveled on assignment to many places all over the globe, such as Albania, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Brazil, the North Pole etc covering news stories and major sport events. His work was published on many international newspapers and magazines such as The Guardian London, The Observer, Epsilon Magazine, Kapa Magazine, Tachydromos Magazine etc. He is a member of the National Union of Press Photographers of Greece, the Greek National Union of Sport Press and the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive. -lyt by avlaysAMAZON FACES FEATURETHE ARCTICROMA FACES FEATURE
