About Me

I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. I'm an ordained minister and my spiritual path is Asatru, the old religion of the Norse. I'm very open minded and tolerant of all, except for those who are intolerant of others. I lived in El Paso, TX for many years, but now I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband who is also named Bonz. I'm a Digital Media major in college. Mac computers rule!!! I'm a bass player and I enjoy going to punk and jazz shows. I'm a chocoholic and a night owl.

My Interests

Art of all kinds; reading; Norse Pagan spirituality; music...especially old school punk, blues and jazz; hiking, camping; traveling; baseball fan.

Old school punk rock, classical music, folk, bluegrass, tribal, Celtic, blues, jazz, swing, rockabilly, psychobilly, progressive/classic rock, speed and thrash metal, ska, oi, old school and modern hardcore punk, bass players in general and anything with a good bass beat. Favorite El Paso, TX bands: Enemy 13, Losers, Med-X, Blacklist, Hot Rod Boogie, Straight Razor Suicide, Fixed Idea, Mandola, Irish Car Bombs, Hallowed Ground, Drunk Again, Rotten Future, The Slicks, Radio La Chusma.Favorite El Paso jazz band: Ruben Gutierrez and friends.And check out my husband Bonz'z band in Toronto, Canada: The Pariahs...awesome punk rock!!

My favorite is Ralph Bakshi animation...my absolute favorite: Wizards. I like Monty Python, Mel Brooks, Cheech and Chong, Wayne's World and the Adams Family comedies, The South Park Movie, old silent films; especially Nosferatu, old musicals, The Seventh Seal, Black Orpheus, The 13th Warrior and anything with Antonio Banderas or Christina Ricci, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Disney's Fantasia, Peter Pan and Dumbo, The Breakfast Club, The Fight Club, Warriors, Conan the Barbarian, Red Sonya, Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Wall, The Doors, Tombstone, Salt Lake City Punk, Suburbia, Quadrophenia, Ramone's Rock and Roll High School, Anne Rice vampire movies, Dracula, 2001; A Space Odyssey, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Velvet Goldmine.

Books:

I read when ever I can...mostly non-fiction books about religion, psychology, physics, art, music, history, natural healing and stories about travel and adventure. I read lots of magazine and newspaper articles on the Internet. I enjoy the works of John Steinbeck, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S.Thompson, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Carlos Castenada, Octavio Paz, and the poetry of Robert Frost, Walt Whitman and Richard Brautigan. Also partial to the Norse Sagas and Eddas and non-fluffy books on metaphysics.
