LATEST SCENE: 30 DAYS OF NIGHT [pretty good vampire story, i loved to visual elemen of snow & blood. the characaters were a bit weak, & i didnt care for the ending but the slaughter scenes more than made up for it. the mutated, bloody faced vamps were pretty unique & scary w/ thier own language & sense of eternal hunger. and its been too long sense there has been a good vampire flick] 3:10 TO YUMA [as far as westerns go its been awhile since ive seen anything quite like this. a huge spagetti-western fan i thought this was the best western since Unforgiven. great character drama & a whole lot of shooting & dust! Bale & Croew were great counterparts & ended up having more in common than meets the eyeYEE_HAW!]HALLOWEEN [when i heard that zombie was re-making the classic stalker/slasher flick i was excited cuz his other movies were sudo-renditions of old classic horror movies. & i must say Zombie did a great job re-creating Michael Myers brutal & savage murdous rampage of rage & evil. & his delving into the childhood makes M.M. more human & realistic, therfore more scary; however still possessed of evil.] THE INVASION [pretty cool alien body snatcher remake. Nicole Kindman is , as always, great & beautiful & strong... Daniel Craig is a nice support role as the nice-guy boyfriend ]THE SIMPSONS MOVIE [as far as TV show movie adaptations i was extreemly surpised!! already a huge Simpson's fan i thought this motion picture delivered! it was great to laugh out loud along w an audience at the theatre & it happened all the way through the movie all the springfield-ians & great sh*t from the show & it was kinda trippy to see it on the big screen Definetly F*ing Funny Sh*t!!!EPA EPA!!!1,000 EYES!!! ]

CURRENTLY READING: RECENTLY READ: "THE RUINS" / SCOTT SMITH: this survival/vaction story gone wrong has every element of real life horror that you would encounter if you were stranded & starving;.. with a supernatural element of the man-eating-vine. great realistic characters & behavior. very sad & hopeless as any good horror fiction should leave you feeling. "FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING" / TOLKIEN "BLAZE" / RICHARD BACHMAN: from the 1970's 'Bachman archives' this short novel is brutal & touching. there is a human element not often looked into with this much depth & sincerity. Clayton Blaisdell III is such a bitter sweet character with a narrowed, somber, hopeful & youthful existance. & there were no birds "GREEN MARS" / KIM STANELY ROBINSON: awsome come back from the first book. so much has changed since the first revolution & some much has grown. you get a much more inside look at alot of the main characters, many of whome are still alive over an incredible amount of time & events. looking forward to 'Blue Mars' "NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES / KING: short stories" "BROTHER ODD" / DEAN KOONTZ: the third chapter in the 'Odd Thomas' sieries. Well Odd finaly made it out of Pico Mundo CA and to the snowy sierra mountains, which is hard for a Mojavi-boy like him. sufice to say his "talent" stays w/ him & the bodachs are present. Odd 3 does have some great characters but this episode has less lingering dead as the first 2. & lets just say the king of rock n roll finds peace, thanks to his friend Odd "LISEY'S STORY" / Stephen King: Rich & i got to actualy sit in the same room w/ SK in beverly hills on his tour of this novel about famous writer, Scott Landon's widowed wife Lisey (pronounced like Cee-Cee) King's writing is getting better & better his imagination continues to bring us to the same familiar, yet strangley fantastic sur-real dimentions. and even though this is another story about a writer, this is one of the few books that the lead character is female through out the whole story. it is a story about marrage, language, relationships, & the light & dark hearts that dwell within every true love i could go on but i'll leave it at; "BOOL! THE END" --
