About Me

I've been living in Burbank since May 2002. I work at Universal Studios Hollywood. I am a Movie Dork. I would be a geek but I'm not smart enough. When I can, I do background work on movies and television shows. My specialty is cops. I write screenplay coverage for National Geographic and The Sundance Institute. My major ambition is to be a screenwriter, which used to be an original and interesting goal back in Pennsylvania, but in LA it's pretty standard. Still, I do it because I love it, and I hope you find my blog entries entertaining.

I was at an outdoor rock show with Ada, who had traded a Gwar hoodie with the merch-girl from the next booth to get me a free Clutch shirt (which was awesome). Gwar had played earlier and now their f...

All I Needed to Hear

I was wearing a suit, and feeling very much like Frank Sinatra, when Nicole told me that previous plans had fallen through and she didn't know what she would be doing with the rest of her night. Over...

It Has Nothing to do with Camping

My dad mailed me a gift. It's a butane lighter featuring a Confederate flag with "Git-Er-Done" written above it. When I open the lighter, a tiny speaker plays Larry the Cable Guy saying, "GIT-ER-DON...

Be Nice to Me

I've read a lot of blogs about folks belly-aching that they didn't get anything done with their day. Well, I've found the answer. Give blood. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it was AWESOME. Fir...

On Ivar after one

Outside of a dance club in Hollywood were two of those street vendors who sell the sausage-dogs that they cook over Sterno cans. I'm pretty sure they're unliscenced because you never hand the money t...
