I am a Recording Artist/singer, living/working in Japan! Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. As a matter of Fact, I was The 1st. Miss Black Teenage America Winner Of Cicinnati, Ohio. (Wow....long time ago huh)lol Ms Dream Girl Winner as well.... (Pageant days) long gone now. So now you know...I am not sweet 16 anymore.....But I'm feeling it! ok.....20 something??????lolSince I've been over here, I have released 2 Major Cd's. 1 on Avex Trax, and My Solo Debut CD was released on BMG FunHouse records.(My Profile picture is from my album cover) (I've also released Cd's on Sony and Mercury Records)But my 1st. Release was back home.....way back when on Fraternity Records. Larry and Vickie "How I Wish You Were Here" Those were the Good Ole Days....TV Shows..Radio .....On and Off Broadway Musicals( Yes started at Cincinnati PlayHouse In The Park) (Little Shop Of Horrors, She stoops to Conquer) etc.I will cherish those memories forever, because those days(and the people I worked with back home),helped me grow into the Woman I am today! Currently I am still singing....Dinner Shows...Parties...Events ect. and...plan to record another album soon!I also have been blessed with teaching others how to do what I do(SING/DANCE etc.)And in doing so it allows me to spread God's Love even more.(Im teaching at a College as well a few Performing arts Schools. (Visual Arts),(EXPG)- Exile's Professional Gym) (Fame Actors Studio)(MotherShip Dance/Vocal School)Japan has given so much to me, I think it's time to take a rest and give some back in return. I never dreamed of teaching, but I guess God had a plan for me! And Lord knows I never thought about staying, living in Japan for as long as I've been here. Too long!But Japan has been good and Healthy for me in many ways, altho sometimes Lonely. I've been on numerous TV shows....Was a Radio DJ..ect. I have done as much or more here than I did back home! It was the Media(TV, Magazines, Newspapers etc.)coverage that helped me establish my following over here in Japan.What can I say, I'm Blessed, and I Thank God Almighty for it all.While in the states I had the pleasure of working with a few major artist such as: La Reid, Baby Face, The Deele, Bootsy Collins, Mico Wave, Trouble Funk, Jeff Beck, Malcolm Mc Laren, Jeff Beck, Stevie Wonder, BB King, George Clinton, General Crook, and many more. While working over here I met a fasinating man....Mr. Jeffery Daniels(Shalamar) and we worked together on several occasions. Also I had a Ball working with Bootsy's son.....Ouiwey Collins....man is he talented! I wish him all the Luck in the world cause he is prepared!!!!I miss and Love America, (I come home every year sometimes twice)! I'm staying here for a while (maybe)....lol to Save $$$ to buy that Dream house I've always wanted, and settle back down in the States.(Someday real soon)lolI just would like all of you to know that anything is Possible in life. If you Believe, you will receive. But also remember: If you are Prepared, you may Meet Opportunity.(some call that Luck) So Be the best that you can be, and always Give and share Love from the heart!.What a truly special historical moment in time we are living in, for us as a people! Barack Obama just may become the 1st. Black American President of the United States. I must tell you all: Japanese people LOVE HIM!!!! So do I!To all of my brothers and sisters around the world.....
