About Me

Art Matters: that’s the slogan to which these boys live by, and to still be living it after what they have been through says it all. Rx have been homeless, stranded on highways, and forced to scrape enough money from anywhere they can. With more than an albums worth of material written, Rx released thier first project, Remembering August, on October 19th. To say that getting this recording done was difficult would be like saying Superman is kind of strong; a complete understatement. With just enough money for four days of recording they were faced with an obvious problem. Knowing that they wanted a professional recording they came to a fast realization: there were going to be lots and lots of sacrifices. After driving seven hours in a shaky van, sleeping in a motel out of some horror movie, and surviving on microwave food, Rx strapped themselves in and recorded the full length EP in just four days. There are no studio tricks here boys and girls, just straight up talent and hard-dedicated work. Rejected by the scene in thier hometown, the boys in Rx have been forced to prove themselves every step of the way.
