First off i would like to say that this page is strictly dedicated to all of the Arkansas artist who are out there grinding on a daily trying to get Arkansas on in the music business!If you did'nt know there are alot of different styles of rap/hip hop in Arkansas.Honestly i believe you all have alot more talent than a numerous amount of states and artist that are national right now, But we all know that the underground music is the best music, because it is so real, and not sugarcoated up.I know everyone dreams of having a record deal, and alot of money so they can get there selves out of the situations they are in right now....
But the Problem in Arkansas is not the talent (You all have plenty of that),
the problem is that the artist and producers are not really studying the game like they should. Im sure you have heard that you have to have your business mind right.....OF COURSE!!!Because as long as you keep dropping hit singles and know one hears them but you and your homeboyz then you will most likely keep sitting in "Park",
but if you go out into society and just market and promote your music like your supposed to, then you will really stop worrying about getting a deal, because you will be making money! "Ya feel me"If you keep sitting on your ass, waiting for the new year to start, so you can tell yourself "this year is going to be my year" then most likely you will be saying the same shyt the next year and continously over and over!So Arkansas artist/producers/musicians you all "HAVE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS MIND READY"...Just get out there on a daily basis and promote yourself and sell your cd's...One thing to remember: Is that you should never carry yourself with to much pride!!!!!
