Energetic, Creative, Passionate, Charming, Soulful and Eccentric - just some of the words that describe the music that comes from the one and only Rah. He is not the average southern hip hop entertainer, and is surely going to captivate listeners' attention by stimulating their ears, minds, and hearts. Born and raised in the inner city of Little Rock, Arkansas as the son of a blues player and the grandson of a preacher, Ryan "Rah" Howard's strong musical and speaking abilities appear to have come to him naturally as his music bursts with lyrical content and breath taking production. Blessed with the ability to create music from all areas of the music business, this 21 year old Phnom excels as both a skillful producer and as a highly advanced emcee. Rah's style as a producer and a song writer stray far from the outline of the typical southern artist. His production style is reminiscent of production greats RZA, Kanye West, and Just Blaze but is still unique enough to be labeled as a style of his own due to his complex use of transitions and original renditions of samples. Rah style as a rapper strays even further from the outline of the typical southern artist by not only consisting of more complex word cadences and usage of soliloquy, but his subject matter is what truly makes him a needle amongst the haystack of other southern rappers. Unlike most rappers of this day and age, Rah doesn't feel the need to try to carry a thug or Mafioso demeanor, which gives him the ability to cover a more diverse and wider range of topics within his music. This advantage gives him the ability to create music that is broad and commercial enough to be easily accepted by middle-aged, suburban audiences, but is still street enough to be embraced and accepted by younger urban audiences. Rah takes this advantage in strides, by creating music that is positive enough to inspire and motivate listeners, but is still raw and uncensored enough to puzzle, amaze, and captivate listeners. Determined to change the world with his music, Rah is focused and ready to become a hip hop great.
