About Me

The Cuckoo Daddies are a bit of odd musical history. The band, actually, no longer exists. In fact, it never really did. We never played a live show, recorded an album or even thought of taking it (as a band) seriously. For us it was an endeavorer to tap into what we thought a 50's rock band ought to sound like!

Deriving influence from a bizarre of classic 1950's B-rated sci-fi flicks staring Vincent Price, to far-out lyrics from Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, to the amazing Folly work of John Kricfalusi; The Cuckoo Daddies tried desperately to win over a sense of fun and humor from it's listeners. We were simply a band trying to get a laugh from whoever would listen.

All songs were written and recorded at C.J.'s "birdhouse" in the Colonial Heights suburbs of Orlando, Florida in the fall of 2000. (The cops shut us down twice. lol)
