People who like to travel and who especially love Antarctica, Turkey and South America. Those who love a good number of the films I've listed, and especially if you like the depressing ones and/or the ones based on historical incidents. Strangler fans. Cat lovers. I'm tired of smart asses.
MIDNIGHT SUMMER'S DREAM by the Stranglers-(Lyrics close enough): __________________________________________________ Woke up on a good day And the world was wonderful A midnight summer dream had me in its spellI dreamt about an old man Sat and watched the rain all night He couldn't sleep a wink as all the drops fellHe told me of the beauty Hidden in our foreheads And he told me of the ugliness We show insteadAnd when we put a foot wrong Do we learn from all the pain? A midnight summer dream as we watched the rainThen at midnight, he poured another drink And bent my ear After midnight we sat up half the night Or maybe more And he began to tell me what it was all forI woke up in an armchair He had gone I don't know where Left me there to sit and look at the rainDon't remember much at all But his words were echoing A midnight summer dream and then awake againMaybe I'll never find him Maybe he's gone forever Maybe I'll have to sit here Watching the weatherOne thing's pretty certain He helped me make it in the night And showed me somewhere else between wrong and rightSo at midnight, if you can't sleep Then I will bend your ear And after midnight we'll sit up half the night, Or maybe more And I'll begin to tell you what it's all for... _________________ I also really like Rolling Stones (the earlier the better)Pink Floyd in day of Syd Barrett, and film soundtracks like that of Velvet Goldmine, lately, also to Salaam Bombay, to Mishima, to Midnight Express, etc.; some Nirvana, some Moby, --Whiter Shade of Pale--______________________________________________________ ____

anything good. Cracker, Waking the Dead, Providence, Judging Amy, Law and Order (the early ones with "Spud" are preferred), Cold Case, Homicide: Life on the Streets, most of BBC America, except those reality shows. Discovery Times channel for good documentaries. Sleuth channel not bad. Da Ali G Show, of course. Peep Show. The Prisoner, The Sopranos, ER, Yes, of course, Little Britain! Yes, you'd better get multi-tiered digital cable or satellite--or you'll be sorely missing out, and wallowing in ignorance.
nonfiction more, but really good British psychological suspense novels that seethe with dysfunction and murderous rage, by Ruth Rendell/Barbara Vine, and J. Wallis Martin; some of Minette Walters like: "The Sculptress" (catchy title, as well as content).
