Living this life to the fullest and Knowing God...
The few not the many, and in the end Jesus Christ.
Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Chopin, Beethoven... I actually like a wide range of music, I love hearing new and original stuff from the hearts of passionate souls. If you have something you have written, I would love to hear it...
I like many different movies, depends on the mood. One of my favorite comedies that I saw recently is "Broken Flowers; Bill Murray, "As Good As It Gets" with Jack Nicholson, & Helen Hunt. I also really liked "A Fish Called Wanda" with Jamie Lee Curtis.
Great adventure movie is the Abyss; directors cut.
My favorite love story, if I have to have one, is "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve"; "The Note-Book" was also a good one.
And, I really liked "The Seventh Stream, with Saffron Burrows",
All time favorite tough guy is Clint Eastwood; I like all the Dirty Harry movies, and the spaghetti westerns.
Foreign and Sundance films; Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon, Ponette, Weeping Camel, Fast Runner, "Niagara Niagara"; strange and disturbing film, but well done.
OK,I finally broke down to modern technology and bought one of those flat panel, wall mounted 42 inch plasma high def TV's, I'm glad I didn't go with the 50"... but I still haven't hooked up the satellite service; not too sure I need to be watching all the depressing news as the talking heads like to present it, and what else is there... I watch a few netflix movies a week, that takes up enough of my time. Got better things to do...
I actually have an addiction to books and book stores, so living out here in the boonies, I am having some withdrawal's and I have been trying to be good and not order too many books on-line.
Currently reading: books on carpentry etc, since I have some projects coming up for the summer on my new house; planning to build a deck, fence, a garage, sun-room, and a Swedish sauna... A bit ambitious, but I don't imagine I'm going to get all of that done this summer...
