Miss Wolff

I'm Maya, 21 years old, from Germany but have been living in England for three years now. I loved music and dance all my life. At the age of five I've started playing the piano which includes six years of lessons and I've been playing ever since. When I was ten I first started writing songs and it was also when I first started dancing. My dad encouraged me to record some of my songs a couple of years later which I did again when I was sixteen. I got to perform my songs mainly through church which I already did with the dancing. But my heart is not for church and live in that "bubble life" of it. My heart is for the world and what people go through. After finishing school I moved to England to work for Innervation Trust where I was trained to be in a professional Popband which was based in Kent to go into the secondary schools there, to take RE and PSHE lessons, do workshops (such as dance and drama) and put on professional concerts. In 18 months we have seen over 20.000 young people and build relationships with some of them which was amazing. I stronlgy believe that there is a need for quality music in the secular world which portraits a godly perspective on life but is relevant to the people in the specific music szenes and not in your face christian. Honestly... some scenes are fucked up-right? It's all about sex and drugs, I have seen it and I understand why people do it. But I also know that sex, drugs, careers, hobbies, cars, fame or whatever we want to fill our life with won't truely fulfill us... Anyway, this band thing ended in August 2006 and that I took a year out. I started teching dance and also some singing. I've been investing a lot into my music over the last year, I've been recording and performing with different artists-mainly dj's which I love doing and want to do more of!
