Illuminertia

Hola mi gente! Hello my people. Modean here. First off I'm super excited to link up with those who will play a vital role in future Illuminertia projects. If you happen to have access to a recording studio I'm into this idea of doing long rang song collaborations via email. We just send mp3 files back and forth until we have a masterpiece! I'm also excited to just network and meet all you cooky crazy kitty's out there. Illuminertia (Modean) my latest solo/collaborative audio-visual project that is currently unfolding. From around (1998-2002) I spent alot of hours with an experimental jazzy hip-hop group known as Audible (audiblesounds.com) Also, played Rhodes in a rock group called Go Upstairs (2003-2004).......Now Landcaster (www.myspace.com/landcastermusic) is the result of beautiful songs written by Trebor Murray and accompanied by one of the greatest, nicest rock drummers in history Derek Henderson. Prior to initiating Illuminertia, in (2005) I collaborated on a album w/ Bubba Jones, producer of Cherry Wine and touring bass player of the first hip hop group ever to win a grammy known as the Digable Planets. I've been establishing myself in the Bay Area in an effort to cultivate a personal vision that will serve as a root base of creative operations. The idea is that Illuminertia will constantly evolve and branch into more collaborative and community oriented efforts. I want to work with artists from all regions of globe. I love the idea of collaborating with soulful people from any part of the planet in an effort to create something soulful, exciting and new. I'm inspired by the diversity of sounds and experiences that exist in the universe that mingle with my own thoughts, personality and genetic makeup. All life experiences, history and music inspire what I do...I'm propelled forth by music and life. I believe there is amazing creative potential in all of us if we aim to bring it out in one another. Everyone has a place in Illuminertia but it's up to you to decide how you want to contribute to the idea. (ie..collaborative musician, promoter, dancer, visual artist, observer, critic etc...)
