VOICE OF AFRICA RADIO

About Me

..
we are a radio station based in plasitow. we are the first ever legal black radio station and we promote musicians of all abilities.
we were set up due to lack of access, social exclusion and marginalisation of the African comunity of any electronic media dedicated to the African comunnity when on the 1st of January 2000 after many meetings, public gatherings and consultations.
VOICE OF AFRICA RADIO was set up, which covered London and its surrounding communities on fm. Our success and popularity went beyond discription. until June 2003, we decided to stop all actions and and seek for a legal lisence to function properly.
In June 2002, Voice of Africa Radio was awarded a trophy presented by the Ghanaian High commissioner to UK – Mr. Isaac Osei for excellence and communal spirit at a colourful award ceremony held by the Ghana Union London.
[Fund raising starts from 20th March, 2005 to raise £50,000]
