In 2005, his melodic Reggaeton "Hey Tu" was a finalist for the Fanta/Coca-Cola New Artist Search along with three others in the Latin Music category. Gueroloco topped off 2006 with a Chicago Music Award nomination for Best Reggaeton Entertainer and by headlining a multi-city international tour in Mexico.
