About Me

Well, I am pretty much the raddest state ever. I am home to the best Pro football team too, the Seattle Seahawks.
I was founded as a state on November 11, 1889 (I know, I am old). If you have any sense of adventure and love life and nature, I might be the state for you. I am a very Liberal state and I am home to some of the best people in the world. My capital is Olympia but my most well-known and largest city is Seattle.
Washington, the only state named after a president, is located in the northwestern part of the contiguous 48 states on the Pacific Ocean. The Evergreen State, the 18th largest state in the union, can be divided into six geographic land areas; the Olympic Mountains, the Coast Range, the Puget Sound Lowlands, the Cascade Mountains, the Columbia Plateau, and the Rocky Mountains. The highest point in Washington is Mount Ranier at 14,411 Ft. The lowest point is sea level where the state meets the Pacific Ocean.
