I was constructed beginning in 1961 as the centerpiece for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. Timeless and classic, I still serve as an integral and instantly recognizable part of the Seattle skyline.
Though many of the futuristic dreams of the Seattle World's fair never came to pass as the new century came and went, I live on as a beloved symbol of the city, and continue to embody the relentless march of progress.
