MobileUnderground is a fresh new hip-hop, electronic and soul music shop featuring handpicked independent and underground artists.
Inspired by first-hand experiences in the music industry, and the resulting desire to create change from an independent perspective, MobileUnderground is a company rooted in values that reflect a new understanding of business and respect for artistry.
Underground music movements have always existed as incubators for creative ideas and trends. Our long-term vision is to mobilize these new and experimental artists into a financially viable force that will continually diversify the marketplace.
Our online retail store for independent hip-hop, electronic and soul music is only the first step towards providing support for the underground music communities. As site traffic and sales increase, we will develop relationships with individuals and companies in the larger economy, creating an innovative business roundtable with shared interests in the broader community that can be leveraged to the benefit of our artists.
By taking this holistic approach, we aim to create revenue for artists and for MobileUnderground by fusing economically-beneficial and humane working relationships with all involved and establishing our companyâ€™s reputation as a pro-artist force and agent of good music.
