Angels are defined as servants of God or beings that deliver God’s messages. They are also revered as beings of beauty and virtue…care givers and nurturers… and very rare, one in a million occurrences. For most people, angels only come into their lives once in a lifetime, sometimes for very short periods of time. Fortunately for ya'll, once such angel was delivered on an April day twenty-five years ago.
My names Lashontae Heckard, Tae to my close family and friends. I'm known as many things, but to ya'll, my fans, Video Vixen would most likely be what I'm best known for. Although my hopes for the future, are to expand my fields and be known for many other things. My first casting was in Brandy's video for her 2002 single Full Moon. And since that appearence, I can be seen in DTP f/Ludacris & Scarface's "Growing Pains" (2002), Dru Hill's "I Should Be" (2002) and "I Love You" (2003), Busta Rhymes f/Mariah Carey's "I Know What You Want/Give It To Me" (2003) Kelis f/Too Short "Bossy" (2006) and Kanye West f/Jamie Foxx "Gold Digger" (2006).
I also made my first big debuet in the 2006 summer hit "ATL" which featured T.I., Lauren London as well as my self. I played a jealous ex girlfriend of the main character, who is used to getting what she wants and is eager to have him back. It was so much fun to play this role becuase it was so much out of my character. In high school I was very much the tomboy. I played every sport, including football and still stayed very foucused on the books.
The biggest decision that I made in my life was when I joined the US Army Reserve and attended college at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. It was during those years of my life that I really began to cultivate a desire and ambition towards acting and modeling.
Although my life may seem to have been easy, and more or less handed to me, believe it or not I've had to work hard and stuggle for where I am today, what I have achieved and the goals I have accomplished. Growing up as a Korean and African American mix I've had the worst of the worst thrown at me. To my fan's, it's very important for me to not only entertain and please you with the work that I partake in, but to also show and prove to you that you can really accomplish any goals that you set for your self. Always follow your heart and set your goals high, and don't ever let anyone tell you who you are.
