I'm Degree One... DJ, Promoter(Hip Hop Concerts, Clubnights, Events and Records) and Graphic Designer. I've tried to be an integral part of the cultivation of the Victoria hip hop scene for the past 17 years.
Starting off as an MC for Victoria's first recognized Hip Hop Group Sound Advice, I then branched out into other areas of the hip hop scene and started my radio career on air at CFUV 101.9 FM hosting Spittin' Rhymes hip hop mixshow in 1992. I was on-Air at CFUV with various shows for nearly 10 years!! I then hosted The Clock Radio Show; Victorias first hip hop radio show on Commercial Radio, Friday nights from 12mid. 2am on CFEX Extreme 107.3 FM for one year from 2001 - 2002 until the station unfortunately decided to flip it's format and get rid of it's specialty shows.

I ran street promotions for BMG Music Canada on Vancouver Island from 96 2000 and continues to do street and club promotional work for BMG, Universal, Virgin-EMI and Sony. I also introduced Vancouver Island to the Worlds foremost DJ contest, The Technics/DMC DJ Mixing Contest for the first time in 1998 which has since has become a highly anticipated yearly event.
