The first thing you need to know is being a Christian does NOT mean I am boring, stuffy or a 'goody-two-shoes'!!! That seems to be the biggest misconception people make when reading my profile.God is the air I breathe, my daily bread. I am constantly amazed by His mercy, grace and forgiveness. When I stumble, He picks me up, dusts me off and sets me back on solid ground. I'm far from perfect and strive to follow His will for my life.I searched the world for the right "spiritual fit"...only to find my salvation when I finally allowed God to touch my heart in 1990. I'm high-spirited and positive...always ready for an "adventure". And my adventures can be as lofty as an exotic vacation, or as lowly as a trip to the grocery store. It doesn't matter to me...I can make any situation magical!I'm a gentle woman, but I can be determined and headstrong if I feel my cause is just! Communication is extremely important to me...quiet talks at the kitchen table are wonderful, but I also know that two really connected people often need no words at all.I'm drawn to those who laugh freely and often. I respect life, and appreciate the wonders of our earthly waiting place. I live life passionately and joyfully, and hope someday to share my future with the person God has chosen for me.When I think about why I allow myself to get hurt, I always think of this scripture: Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.It helps me remember satan wants me sad, frustrated, mad, angry, and would like nothing better to have tears streaming down my face! Well, I refuse to let him win this battle or even to give him an ounce of justification for me to be unhappy. So, in spite of the devil, I will do what ever I have to do to smile and go on each and every day knowing I won't let him destroy the hope I have for a better future.

Friends who enjoy encouraging each other and have fun! I would love to meet anyone who loves the Lord and is looking for good Christian friends.Encouragement is essential to who I am. I encourage the people I love with scriptures and up lifting words to help them have a better day.I have three kids who, at this point in their life, don't need another dad. What they need is a manly figure who could be their friend and not their dictator! I have done a lot of soul searching and discovered a kind hand turns away wrath. That being said, I value a man's opinion, I would prefer a man to speak his peace, offering suggestions, instead of demanding things be his way.
