Finals are finally over and I was lucky enough to get all A's. With Christmas over and the New Year right around the corner, I guess it's time to start that healthy eating I've been talking about all year. I also plan to enjoy some free time these next few weeks and hopefully spend some time with an old friend who finally called to let me know he is still alive. I like spending time with my bestest friends, hanging out, talking, sharing my innermost thoughts and feelings with women who care and love me. No I'm not gay, I just like the fact I can be intimate with women today. I've also discovered I don't need a man in my life today to validate who I am. I am a mother, student, friend, sister, daughter, recovering addict, and that is enough. href=http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmdsaXR0ZXItZ2Z

Friends who don't drink and use drugs. That is a big part of my past and it did nothing but get me into a whole lot of trouble. I choose to surround myself with people who won't expect me to go to the bars to have a good time. I enjoy watching movies and hanging out with friends. I haven't been looking too hard for a man but if the right one came along he would have to be mature, a christian, and not expect me to hop right in the sack. Cause I'm not that kind of girl......anymore. I have morals and values I believe in today and won't compromise them for a one night stand.
I like all kinds of music, but the stereo in my car is always on K-Love 96.1 or 97.3. It is positive and encouraging Christian music. I don't care for heavy metal too much.
Not into scary or gory movies. I have a 3 year old daughter and I try my best to monitor what is on the t.v. at all times. I enjoy watching most cartoons and family movies, they really aren't that bad. When she isn't around I like a good action movie. I'm not into stupid movies like Austin Powers and things along those lines.
I don't really watch very much television. I like House, Desparate Housewives, and Ellen. I can't ever seem to remember what nights things are on so I usually wait for the whole season to come out on DVD, then rent it like that. The news is pretty depressing, so I don't watch it much either unless I want to know the weather.
I have several daily devotionals that I read. They are a good way for me to start my days. They help me remember what's really important in life(GOD) and that if I remember that, my day will be just fine. I have so much stuff to read during school, I don't find much time to read anything else. I look through the Daily Star Journal a couple of times a week. And of course, the Bible.
God, Jesus, my dad Joe Patterson, Wilbur Wilberforce, anyone who tries to make the world a better place for all the right reasons.
