About Me

4 Minutes to Save the World - AIDS/Lifecycle
Ok...so it may take more than 4 minutes to save the world....and it’s definitely going to take more than 4 minutes to ride a bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles. But it takes less than 4 minutes to make a donation to my good friend Cory’s AIDS/Lifecycle fund raiser.
Please visit http://www.aidslifecycle.org/2702 to find out how you can help change the world. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Do you remember that quiet shy kid back in highschool? He never really stood out and you couldn't exactly quite figure out which clique he belonged to. He was smart, but not quite a nerd. He was in the band, but not exactly a band geek. He was on the water polo and track team, but definitely not a jock. He was artsy, but not a weirdo. You didn't hate him, but he wasn't exactly your best friend either. Well, that was me.
Not much has changed since highschool. I'm still that quiet shy guy. I've grown up a little and may be getting just a tiny bit more attention these days. I guess I'm still smart since I was able to graduate from UCLA. Don't play anymore instruments...well, I do play with... oh... nevermind. Don't play water polo or run, but I did discover the wonders of going to the gym. Though I doubt I'll ever reach that jock status. Still very much into anything artistic or creative. I wasn't anyone's best friend in highschool, but that part has changed. I'm greatful for the two best friends I have right now. My family is very important to me and I'm making every effort not to distance myself from them anymore.
So that's me in a nutshell.
