(it's catchy), ludacris, bad brains, bjork, ciera, al green, billie holiday, destroy, harry belafonte, michael jackson, boyz II men, i'll listen to a lot of bands that i might not necessarily love.. but which have amazing drummers.. oldies i can sing along to (even with made up lyrics)... practically any 50s music i can dance to naked. apart from that, i am currently inspired by: charles bronson, spazz, boycot, fuck on the beach, and some of los crudos.
"Back to the Future", "Evil Dead" and possibly "Army of Darkness", "Shaun of the Dead", "The Addams Family" + "Values", "200 Cigarettes", indie films, "Star Wars", "The Lord of the Rings", "Amelie", "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not," "Practical Magic," "The Witches", "But I'm a Cheerleader," "Shrek 2", "What Dreams May Come," "Moonlight Mile," "Igby Goes Down," "Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys", "Underworld", "Easter Parade", Quentin Tarentino movies, "Beetlejuice", "Young Frankenstein", "JURASSIC PARK" is one of my all time favorites... I'll add more later.
The Simpsons, family guy, AB FAB!, law & order(all of them are the same, but my sister and i (and now alan) prefer SVU over the rest partly because marishka hargitay is hot.), adult swim when we actually watch it.
The Handmaid's Tale, Utopia, Everything by Oscar Wilde, almost all Shakespeare, The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Brave New World, Emma, The Mists of Avalon, Siddhartha, The Republic, The Joy Luck Club, Ibsen, The Stranger, Pride and Prejudice, and all of the Harry Potter books. Recently I've read The Hundred Secret Senses; a lovely book by Amy Tan. And I'm currently reading H.P. Lovecraft, who is the best author EVER when it comes to scaring the shit out of me, and a book on Nazi Germany. Up next: Beyond Good & Evil by Nietzche and I'm re-reading Dante's Divine Comedy... there are some more amazing books that I don't remember at the moment.
