About Me

Just became a dad on Saturday 2nd June! I can't believe it. Just bought a house and moved in at Glenmore Park, Sydney. Lived in London for 3 1/2 years and did a lot of travel. Kim and I were married on May 22nd 2006 at Coral Sea Resort . Music is a passion of mine and my collection consists mostly of rock / folk / alternative - guitar based. I work in IT, and for those in the know, more specifically databases, reporting systems, Unix, and EDI.

My Interests

Music, swimming, surfing, snowboarding, tennis, camping, computer games, travel, Formula 1 (I've been to Monaco and Melbourne GP's)

I'd like to meet:

John Howard, our great Aussie PM. Unlike most other politicians he says what he is going to do and he does it. He's not scared of calling a spade a spade either.

Music:

The Cat Empire - Sly

Def FX - Psychoactive Summer

Darren Hanlon - Happiness is a Chemical

The Whitlams - Royal in the Afternoon

Eskimo Joe - Black Fingernails Red Wine

Bernard Fanning - Songbird

Lior - This Old Love

Augie March - One Crowded Hour

The Grates - Rock Boys

Ben Lee - Catch My Disease

There is a LOT of music I listen to, but most of it has a guitar or 2 (or 3) in it. Some of my favourites are Bernard Fanning / Powderfinger, Wolfmother, Lior, Augie March, The Grates, Ben Lee, Ben Folds, Aerosmith, Darren Hanlon, You Am I, RHCP, The Lucksmiths, Eskimo Joe, iOTA, Regurgitator, The Whitlams, Pearl Jam, Grinspoon, The Cat Empire, The Kaiser Chiefs, QOTSA, Damien Rice, Def FX, and my mate Aldo's band Anthem . Thanks to Jenna's page I've recently gotten into UK band The Wutars. I also love live music and try to get to gigs when I get a chance. The last ones I saw were Bernard Fanning and Augie March, The Girls From the Clouds, and Anthem

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, Top Gun, Black Hawk Down, The Da Vinci Code, Grumpy Old Men, most with Samuel L Jackson. I can't think of any others at the moment

Television:

House, NCIS, CSI, Thank God You're Here, The Chaser's war on everything

Books:

The Hobbit / Lord of the Rings (it took me ages to read them), Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, anything by Tom Sharpe, Jeffrey Deaver or James Patterson

Heroes:

People who dedicate their life to helping others.
