About Me

I had a very strange mixed up childhood. I moved around alot while I was growing up due to my Dad's job. I lived in 5 different countries, 10 houses, and went to 11 different schools.

After leavng school I wanted to work with, and help people. I worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker, volunteer, and special needs assistant. I also went to and graduated from, University.

I now paint and write.

My Interests



Writing stories in the supernatural/comedy/ sci-fi/ horror genre, creating artwork, other artists and their work, conservation, the natural world, dust bunnies, philosophy, science, meeting people, music, the paranormal and mysteries,animals, helping people (where I can), sci-fi, Keeping fit, walking, parrots, psychology, juggling, and lots of other stuff........ oh and wolves....I forgot I quite like wolves :-)

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet open minded, good hearted, interesting people; with no absolute idea about what the world/universe is really all about.

Star Trek - The Original, and The Next Generation (Gene Roddenberry was a great humanist). Blackadder (especially Blackadder II, and Blackadder the Third). Horizon. GhostHunters (The Discovery Europe Documentary series).Father Ted.

Books:


I love books, I have huge towers of them on my floor that I don't have a perminent place for at the moment and I hope don't fall down. I love all books so I don't really have any favourites but here are some that I like:
The Chrysalids - John Wyndham; The Philosophy Gym - Stephen Law; The Living Wisdom of Trees - Fred Hagender; The Sense of Being Stared At - Rupert Sheldrake (This is also a great book to read in public places ;-}); The Dark is Rising - Susan Cooper; 101 Philosophy Problems - Martin Cohen; Jonathan Livingston Seagull - Richard Bach; Silver on the Tree - Susan Cooper; The French Lieutenant's Woman - John Fowles;

Heroes:
