About Me

Out of a dust bowl in Amarillo TX came a man right out of the earth during the most important event of the year, The Trimming Of Mr. Slacker Jaws Whiskers. When our paths finally crossed at art school we began writing stories. We decided to move out into the world and finish writing a film. Out of the stories the man heard songs. Now hidden away from the smog of Los Angeles in an apartment there is man of myth. Can someone spend all day in doors? With pasty white skin to prove it our main character,W.R., is trapped making madcap eccentric melodies with time for nothing else. Backed ByDon Bolles (of the legendary punk bandThe Germs) Emily Le Gate on female vocal,BrittonPowell on the bass, Jay Campbell on Cello,Davindar Singh on Saxaphone, andMike Hopkins (I Make This Sound ,The Dirty Men ,The Madrigals ) on drums. With guest contributions from:John Vanderslice,Two Knots Is Lots ,andThe Ward Brothers.Recently we've been hunkered down mixing our record at the best recording studio known to man-Tiny Telephone. It’s been a grueling process and I don’t if w.r. has been sleeping but when it comes out finally he might be able to eat. -Winston
