Emma Ford and Natalie Loren, aka "Luxury Kills" twist the knife deeper, much deeper than the many faceless charlatans currently moonlighting as Disc Jockeys throughout the worlds party scenes.
Born out of the most exciting musical renaissance London has seen since the glory days of punk, these girls have a hardened musical knowledge worthy of a "purple heart" for valour in the face of past vapid scenes.
Natalie Loren began an electro DJ. She went on to become resident DJ at "Underground" in Ibiza, also "The End" in London, with the notorious "Mr C". Emma Ford, has lived the inner circle of Punk having worked for two years with The Clash's Mick Jones. Then moving on to work with Pete Doherty and even Queen's Roger Taylor, have all found themselves smitten with her unique vivacity.
Eventually deciding to combine their Electro and Punk Rock backgrounds to create "Luxury Kills". Making their introduction at the legendary "Sun and 13 Cantons" in London's Soho on a weekly basis. Other luminaires that started nights there are Billy Nasty, The Chemical Brothers and Carl Cox.
These girls demand respect, if only for rejecting the past hordes of vacuous, parasitical groupies which currently haunt the scene.
With rare ambition and inate musical knowledge "Luxury Kills aims to strike at the heart of the musical establishment and shake things up. With looks that "will" kill and heavenly nymph like shapes, prepare yourself for explosive kegs detonating from the decks!
