I was born (at a very young age) to a family of third generation sharecroppers in the Mississsippi Delta region of the U.S.A. One of eight children, I experienced near-constant abuse in the family home -- most of it musical.By the age of ten, I had scurvy, rickets, perfect pitch and an intense hatred of hippies.It was sometime during my twelfth year that I had what spiritual-minded people refer to as an "epiphany." While lying on my straw-filled mattress, a vision came unto me and I saw my destiny. I was to travel to the United Kingdom, a tea-obsessed nation populated by industrious homosexuals with impeccable manners. It was there that I would begin my meteoric rise to power, fuelled by the music that I would write and record while living there.After receiving this vision, I recovered almost immediately and I was no longer affected by the scurvy and rickets, although my perfect pitch remained, as did my unexplained hippie hatred.Incredibly, my family was very supportive of my destiny and sent a telegram to my distant relative Count Ludwig von Ruzek of Rosavakia. A nobleman of the bluest blood, Ludwig arranged for my passage to the continent. Two months later, I was aboard a ship headed for Rosavakia.Upon my arrival at his castle fortress, Count Ludwig, a professor of music as well as other fields of knowledge, began to acclimate me to my new environment. My training began in earnest. I was schooled in the musical arts, studying melody, harmony, advanced music theory, the occult sciences and psycho-acoustics. These studies were, of course, interspersed with lessons in falconry, swordplay and full-contact origami.After spending many years in this idyllic setting, the Count one day pronounced that I was ready to begin my campaign of musical domination. There was nothing more he could teach me.I knew that the time had come for me to finally establish myself in the United Kingdom and begin my reign. I chose the moniker IMMUNE SYSTEM in reference to the childhood illness which precipitated my youthful epiphany.And this, gentle reader, brings us largely up-to-date on the history of IMMUNE SYSTEM. Two full-length recordings ("Weltanschauung" and "Phallusuberalles") and one live e.p. ("Live in Hyperborea") have since been released. Because of the occult information they contain, this triumvirate has become known to fans as the "Keys to the Kingdom." This may, in fact, become the title of an upcoming release.IMMUNE SYSTEM has received requests to perform in such varied locales as Moscow, Berlin, Las Vegas, and, most recently, Occidental California, for a private political event.In addition to creating original music, IMMUNE SYSTEM is also active with remix work. The most recent of these has been a remix of the song "Crack" by the East Coast rap artist, Swing.IMMUNE SYSTEM.
