Gabriel Flores Jair was born in Córdoba, Argentina, 1967. For the last ten years he has been working as a theatre director, actor and producer. Resident in Malmoe, Sweden, since 1978. ............................................................ ....................................................... He has also lived in Mozambique between the ages of 14 to 16 and then he went back to Argentina being 18 years old. A trip that only lasted six months. ............................................................ ....................................................... After completing the military service in Sweden he hitchhiked to Paris, France and stayed there for a couple of months and then back to Sweden and off to Germany and then back to Sweden and then off to Italy and then back to Sweden… ............................................................ ....................................................... Gabriel is a jewish-arab argentinian naturalised Swedish who speaks, besides Spanish and Swedish, Portuguise, Italian, a little French and is now learning the language the jews living in Spain spoke before thrown out in 1492, ladino. ............................................................ ....................................................... In February 2006 he started to write lyrics and melodies and singing. Then he spoke to Emanuel Arvanitis to arrange the songs and be co-composer. Emanuel agreed and the duo started to look for musicians to join in. On doublebas we now have Lars Borg and on junk/percussion is Jerker Wännström.
