I am a single parent of a six year old boy.Family is sooo important to me. It represents foundation. I always precedent everything with this because my son is the most important thing to me. I have learned alot while being a single parent...see T-shirt.(smile) I am a poet and love all art. I am me...simply put. I have a passion for fun, life and making people laugh. I am not a made up girlie girl, but I can get with the best of them. I am very down to earth and have grown SOOO MUCH that it is almost scary. I can't say that I found the Lord because He has never been lost (hahah). I can say that I answered the call. I love God and all that God stands for. I strive daily to live a Christ like life and bless him daily. I am not perfect...who is, but I can see a change in me. I have dropped ALL grudges and that's a pure sign for me in itself. Someone said...Grudges take too much energy. I have truly realized that. I dont have time for drama.I am a poet and I love to write. I wrote for my own personal growth for a long time until January 2005. Then, I tapped into the spoken word world and wow did it open up so much for me. I have been a member of a few spoken word groups and have performed on many stages. I feel the best when I am on stage. I love to perform. It gives me a rush when people are excited about what comes out of me. I am born to be in the spotlight. Just you wait and see. I am a member of Greater St. Stephens FGBC where Bishop Paul S. Morton from New Orleans is my pastor. I love to sing....and sing! God has blessed me with a gift and now I have to use it. I sing on our praise team and hope to do a project for the soul one day. God's time. I have a passion for the empowerment and education of young
women..especially teenagers. I work with non-profit organizations to teach Human Sexuality and Safe Sex. I am working on my teaching licensure to enhance by BS and would like to work as a contract Health Educator during the summer months. I guess that's enough...I think you get the point about me (smile)
