Declaration is a Provo based indie rock band made up of people from Washington, Arizona, Colorado, & Connecticut. We've been playing together for over two years. We've been recording off and on for almost a year now and the result is a new album called "Panic Button." It represents a broad range of influences including Sunny Day Real Estate, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, etc. The songs shift from driving rock songs to gentle piano ballads to noise experiments and beyond. We've been privileged enough to share the stage with such bands as 31 Knots (Polyvinyl Records - Portland), The Appleseed Cast (The Miltia Group - Kansas), Kind of Like Spitting (Barsuk/Hush Records - Portland), Broke (Maverick Records), Facing New York (CA), The Valley Arena (CA), The Stiletto Formal (AZ), Half-Handed Cloud (Sufjan Stevens) and many of our friends in the Provo area...
