Clemenceau - I miss you, buddy. 1991 - 6/2007
OK, I'd also like to meet and learn from Vincent D'Onofrio and Lulu Smith.
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
A Life Less Ordinary
Donnie Darko
Clerks
Airplane
Buckaroo Banzai
The Jerk
Incredible Lightness of Being
Desperately Seeking Susan
City of Angels
Michael
Niagara, Niagara
If it's twisted, dark, circuitous, sarcastic, satire, film noir or by Michael Moore - I'll probably like it.
House MD
Law & Order - any variety, but particularly w/ Vincent D'Onofrio.
What Not To Wear - I live in fear of someone submitting my name.
X-Files reruns
New Additions
Grace - a bit disturbing at times...
Burn Notice - I love Gabrielle Anwar's character, Fiona...
The Closer - I'm sorry but the episodes with her family in town were so accurate they almost weren't funny...
Psych - OK, I really didn't plan to like this show at all... But the horrible jokes and references to obscure movies sold me.
Did I mention anything with Vincent D'Onofrio? OK, he was pretty creepy in Cell. Well, in Salton Sea, too.
(Sorry, I'm off reading...)
Dr. Becky Arnold, DVM PhD
- gifted diagnostician, mentor, almost as surly as House, but without the limp. ;-)
My Dad
- his work ethic and his sense of humor - not to mention his unconditional love of my mother - have always been an example to me.
My Mother
- who taught me that being a woman didn't not limit me, and for her strength in going through all the illnesses, hospital stays, unpleasant tests.
All the volunteers at The Cat House
that keep the organization going, while still doing their "day jobs" and other full-time things.
And finally,
the true heroes are the animals we rescue.
Many have been through living hell. Many tossed out because they are inconvenient. Many have been near death. And yet they never, ever give up.
It has been my honor to work with these beautiful and amazing creatures.
