The Hampton Amateur Theatre Society is a comedy drama group from the township of Hampton in Peterborough, UK.
Our members are from all walks of life and are over the age of 16.
We meet every Tuesday at 7.30pm.
We are NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) registered and adhere to their guidelines. We are run democratically and have a committee.
Our mission statement is:
- to entertain, educate and inform, thereby enriching the cultural life of the new Hampton Township and the surrounding area
- to bring an enjoyable theatrical experience to our community
- to provide a social setting for fun and friendship
- to create opportunities to develop talents in the theatre arts
We place as much emphasis on having fun as we do putting on shows. We have regular social/fundraising evenings where we all get together and have a really good laugh. Check our website for photos of our get-togethers!
