Iowa Honey Dripper

I first began listening to folk/bluegrass/old tyme country 30 years ago. I was a buyer for a music store and the first section I was assigned to order product for was the above genres. I asked how do I learn about these. I was told "Buy Buy Buy". Back then I refused to buy 8-tracks, so here came the vinyl into my collection. One of the most interesting band I heard was Gid Tanner's Skillet Lickers.

When I lived in Madison, WI, I used to see Pat McCurdy and several other fun folk style entertainers often. The festivals there are wonderful.
