ATTENTION BANDS - "I will not post just any act in my "Friend's Listing." I will listen to your music and if I like it, fine. If I don't, I'll tell you why. Most in my "Friends List" I either have met and know, or am a fan of. I have been in and around the entertainment industry since 1979, so I'm not a newbie to it. I manage a Motel on the beach and am a Chaplain for Acute Crisis Care facilites, prisons and jails here on the East Coast of the State. I'm also a trained musician and dabble in all musical forms and styles. Trading bass for guitar, piano for vocals and so forth. Well rounded I'd guess you'd say. Currently I'm competing for a scholarship for my Phd and find myself way too busy. I need someone special to slow down my pace.br

My Interests

My interests range from music, to Scuba Diving, to cooking, to a Jimmy Buffet lifestyle and everything in between. I'm just thrilled with living day to day being content with who and what I am.

I'd like to meet:

This question can be all consuming, because how do we ever know until we get there who'd we like to be with and why. But, I'll try to answer this as honestly as possible and with little fanfare. I do know this though, that I'm tired of the dating game and the people who make it a hobby. I'm sincere and feel like I have alot to share, but won't make the mistake of choosing a person who doesn't have the same desires as myself.I know because of my Faith and obligations, the right lady would have to be understanding to my system of belief, my schedule of community involvement, my continuing education and know that underneath it all, I'm as human as anyone else and longing for a lifemate. I guess in the past, I made the mistake of being with others that were approved by everyone else, and in the process, I forgot who I really dreamed of.

Music:

I love Andre Segovia to Heavy Metal. (Not all headbangers are bad)LOL Simply said, if it's musically sound and has a great hook or composition, I like it.

Movies:

B-Rated horror movies are my favorite. They're cheesy, low budgeted and fun to watch. I can't help loving an old Bella Legosi flick. And no, I don't think that horror movies are the work of the devil. LOL Relax, they're just entertainment.

Television:

I don't watch mainstream TV. I prefer A&E, the History Channel, Biography, TBN and those types of channels and shows. Too many commercials on network TV.

Books:

I read alot of philisophical books. And I don't mean this to say that I sit around and argue the particulars of a certain strain of religion. LOL

Heroes:

God, my Parents and my Children. Simply put, how could I choose anyone else. Today's so called heros are war-mongers, politicians and corporate raiders. When in doubt, always choose from above and close to home.
